A dream practice/small gig amp This amp is an amazing value. The depth & dimensionality of the sound seem impossible coming from something so small & inexpensive. The controls are intuitive, the build quality is stellar, the LEDs are bright, the knobs & buttons are sturdy. My piezo-equipped Godin has never sounded better through any other amp, and I could get perfect Strat single-coil tones from my Telecaster Special’s humbuckers with the coils tapped in the ’65 Twin model. The high-gain models sustain beautifully even with the master volume barely at a whisper, and the headphone sound is every bit as good as the speaker tone. The reverb is lush. The amp is quiet when you’re not playing. Skipping through the models is great fun–kids will love this thing. I’ve loaded FUSE & done a little exploring, but that will take some time. My only issue is that the single-button footswitch from my Fender Blues Deluxe won’t work with it, so I’ll have to buy the one Fender recommends as an option. This amp will definitely go…

Top Notch In A Small Package I own a wonderful Fender Mustang III amp, but got tired of lugging it from the basement into my garage for the occasional garage noise session. So on a whim, I bought this amp as a portable that could use the same customized amp/effects settings as on the III. On that score, it works very well and sounds fabulous. No, it doesn’t get as full sounding as the III—it just isn’t big enough to get the same rich, deep, sound—but it does mighty fine nonetheless. I also like that it is easy to flick through the effects settings and adjust the amount of those effects, which is a bit easier than on the III. And I also use the Fender Fuse software to customize and tweak the sound and share settings between the two amps. For $119 you simply can’t go wrong with this amp. I only wish they had these 30+ years ago when I was first learning to play in High School/College.
