Buy this freaking guitar Awesome guitar guys. The finish is beautiful and after a little tuning I had it sounding just like I thought it would. There were other reviews saying it doesn’t stay in tune and the fret wires were cut too long, but I haven’t experienced either one of these. Seriously, if you’re a beginner guitarest and want a clean looking good sounding guitar while staying low in price… look no further than this.

This will more than suffice Summary for those who don’t want to read the whole thing: This is more than worth the money. If you’re a beginner looking for a first guitar or if you’re experienced and are searching for a backup/travel option or anything like that, get this. Do not hesitate. A cheap guitar doesn’t ALWAYS mean a POS!Alright, full story/review:So, when I was a kid up until my early teens my (insanely talented and self-taught) older brother helped me learn how to play guitar. I got pretty decent but somewhere along the way I stopped and I’ve regretted it basically every day ever since then. I knew there was a middle ground and I was determined to find it. I…

Awesome for vet or beginner I have been playing guitar for 5 years and this will be the 5th guitar I own and the second Epiphone I have purchased. I read the reviews on here than test played the DR 100 against a $600 Martin. Im sorry to tell the guys who live and die by high end gear that this guitar sounded better, its sound is much brighter and has a nice strong bass when playing a pedal note on the 5th or 6th string. the only thing I wish I could do is remove the annoying E from the pickguard. I would gig with this guitar any time since it looks and sounds good and holds its tunings well. Im not sure why others cannot find the truss rod, if you know anything about guitars it would sneak up and bite your butt. Good job Gibson/Epiphone, you have provided a playable and affordable product for us music makers on a poor mans budget.
